Day 14: Big Horn, WY, July 13, 2017

We took a hike in the morning up the river that was very close to camp, not even a mile. Leia chased lots of sticks. I even swam a little! After lunch, our camping neighbors from San Francisco that also had a dog and a girl my age, asked if we would like to hike with them. We did! We went on the same trail as early but much farther. We found another great swimming spot on the river. Leia swam more but their dog didn't like swimming. We swam for awhile and then hiked out a little further and the trail had been covered by lots of fallen trees so we went back. We stopped in the spot we stopped at early in the morning. We did not swim as long. We went back to camp and had an early dinner and a fire at 6. Leia passed out in the flowers. We saw a cow moose come over and graze right across the river from the campsite. We enjoyed the fire and went to bed.

Morning view from our tent!

Our river- the moose walked right by us in the morning and night!!

Camping life!!! Hammock on the river- heaven!

Our morning swimming spot. Water is yesterday's snow melt so it is cold!!

Leia in the meadow.

Swimming and bathing in the rapids!

Hiking and swimming with our neighbors from San Francisco!
