Tent Life!!

Day 9: Grand Tetons, WY, July 8, 2017
We got up super early to drop Daddy off at the airport to catch his flight home. We went to the Grand Tetons to hike around because Leia was still in the hotel sleeping. We stopped at a view area and just missed a moose in the marsh. We drove to Jenny Lake and went on a beautiful hike around the lake. There were amazing views of the Tetons. We got a snack at the visitor center. After, we drove to the Lupine Trailhead to hike a little up the main Teton. We did not go far because we had to do laundry at the hotel and see Leia. We went back to the hotel and started the laundry. We had lunch at a Mexican restaurant. We put the laundry in the dryer and got supplies at the Kmart. It took 3 hours to do one load of laundry. When it was finally finished, we drove to our campground in Idaho. We set up camp and made dinner. We went on a very short hike to see the waterfalls. We went to sleep the moon was full so it was very bright. It was so quiet, I slept so well,

What a sleepy head dog! Did Leia mind missing the hike. You are sure roughing it in your tent. Where is this campground? It looks beautiful and, indeed, very peaceful.
ReplyDeleteLeia was happy to sleep, she was tired. Tent life is very comfortable. We travel with 4 pillows and stuffes animals. Lots of blankets and 2 sleeping bags. Luckily it all compresses for the travel.
