Day 3: Zion National Park, July 2, 2017

We went to the store across the river for fresh orange juice and made oatmeal for breakfast. We dropped Leia off at The Doggy Dude Ranch because she can't go on the hike. After waiting in a long line, we got the shuttle and got off at the last stop, The Temple of Sinawa. We hiked the Riverwalk Trail in to the river. The Narrows is a hiking trail where the trail is the river. We hiked three miles out and three miles back. We got the shuttle to go back to camp. We picked Leia up from her doggie day care and saw a huge wreck with 2 RVs. We stopped at the market and got food and made tacos for dinner.

So many amazing views along this hike.

Getting ready to enter the slot canyon.

Wonderful way to spend a 100 degree day!

Beautiful hike through the Virgin River. Definitely one of the most popular spots in the park. It was crowded the first mile.

Before the plunge.

After the plunge!! It's cold. Water temperature is 64 degrees!

Orderville Canyon

The water was much warmer in the sunny spots. It was so much fun to ride the current.

In some spots, we had the river to ourselves!

Daddy crossing the rapids.

The long line for the park shuttle back to camp.
